#TrashTag is the Viral Challenge Inspiring People to Pick Up Trash Around the World

Finally, a viral challenge that goes beyond simple amusement. The #trashtag challenge is inspiring people to pick up trash, making the world that much more beautiful.
This movement encourages people to clean an area, ridding it of all trash, and to post a before and after image on social media. Honestly, the contrast is shocking. It doesn’t take much to grab a group and spend 30 mins clearing your neighbourhood, a local park, beach, or even a section of highway, and the results are simply astounding.
As the snow melts, what's the first thing you notice about our great outdoors? The brown, soggy, coffee cups that litter the side of the road? Yeah, us too. So instead of complaining about it, why not do something about it?
Take a look at some of the incredible transformation photos of those who have already accepted the #trashtag challenge!

Usually I’m against doing good deeds just to post it online but in the case of #trashtag i am 100% for it, if that’s what it takes.

I don't have a before-and-after picture, but here's a couple of pictures of me with my family picking up trash from the road side whenever we made a rest stop. #trashtag pic.twitter.com/TygYf2dM13
